I’m Emma — a mama of two, a certified Pre- & Postnatal Yoga Specialist, and a Body Ready Method® Pro based in Wellington, New Zealand. I support parents through the incredible transitions of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with a holistic, evidence-informed approach rooted in movement, mindfulness, and deep care.

Why I do this work?
My journey into this work began with the birth of my first child — an experience that was empowering, humbling, and transformative. It sparked a deep passion for understanding how we can better prepare our bodies and minds for birth and beyond.
Pregnancy and birth can be powerful, transformative, and yes — sometimes overwhelming. I believe that when people feel safe in their bodies and supported in their choices, they birth and parent with more ease and confidence.

From Banking to Birthwork
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in banking — a world away from birth and babies! But becoming a mother changed everything. I retrained as a pre- and postnatal yoga teacher, then went on to complete the Body Ready Method® training (now one of their teaching assistants). I have dived deep into biomechanics, core and pelvic floor health, embodied movement and nervous system work.

What matters most
It means the world to me to hold space — for your joy, your fears, your strength, your softness; whether you're preparing for birth, healing afterward, or simply seeking a moment of reconnection with your body and mind.
This work is my passion and my privilege. It’s about honouring the whole journey — pregnancy, birth, postpartum — and helping you feel truly seen, supported, and prepared.
